What is the LCLEPC?

The Lake County Local Emergency Planning Committee (LCLEPC) is responsible for creating and submitting an emergency response plan to the State Emergency Response Commission. The purpose of developing an emergency plan is to prepare emergency response agencies for the special demand which a hazardous materials incident places on them.
